March 8, 2009 Stock Pick: Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (TTWO)

Stock Price: $6.21

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. is a global developer, marketer, distributor and publisher of interactive entertainment software games for the PC, PLAYSTATION®3 and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment systems as well as other entertainment systems.
The Company publishes and develops products through its wholly owned labels Rockstar Games, 2K Games, 2K Sports and 2K Play.

TTWO is expected to report first quarter 2009 results on Tuesday, March 10th. TTWO has a book value of $7.91.

TTWO has a strong brand and a number of strong gaming titles. We see TTWO as a possible takeover candidate by other big names in the game developer market, namely Activision Blizzard. TTWO is trading at a market cap of only around $482 million.

TTWO has just begun to move after bottoming below $5.60 recently. TTWO's 50-day moving average is looming above at $7.18. We believe we could see TTWO continue its momentum and start a new uptrend.
